Special Services
Confirmation
First Church holds Confirmation Services each spring. Teens who have completed the Covenant Classes in ninth grade are invited to own the church covenant and be received into the membership of the church.

Reception of New Members
Friends and visitors are always welcome at First Church. If you would like to better understand what it means to be a Congregationalist or are interested in joining our congregation, you are encouraged to participate in one of several New Member classes held throughout the year.
New Member Classes are scheduled on Sundays, immediately follow the 10 AM worship service, and last approximately 90 minutes. We include lunch and an option for child-care if needed.
Email firstchurchtosa@firstchurchtosa.org for more information on the next class.
Weddings
First Church offers a lovely setting, accommodating small intimate gatherings as well as large ceremonies. Weddings booked at First Church include one of our ministers, an organist, wedding hostess and custodian. The upstairs parlor doubles as a comfortable dressing area with full length mirror and adequate room for the women in the wedding party.
Interested couples are asked to meet with one of our ministers of First Church to discuss plans for the wedding day and ceremony.
For more information contact the church office at 414-258-7375 or email.

Funerals and Memorial Services
Our ministers are here to provide prayer, counsel and supportive care to families experiencing the death of a loved one.
We will assist you, at this difficult time, in providing family and friends with a meaningful and prayerful funeral service at the church, funeral home or graveside. Or, if you prefer, we will provide a memorial service at the church following private interment.
Call First Church upon the death of a family member or loved one, either immediately before or following your call to the mortuary. If you get the after-hours’ recording, please do not hesitate to call the emergency number, 414-258-7378. A minister will call you back as soon as possible.
