Choirs and Handbells
First Church Choir
First Church Choir sing each week at the 10:00 AM worship service and the special holiday services throughout the year. The choir also presents a beloved Christmas concert every December. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM. Vocalists of all levels are welcome to participate.
The Jubilation Ringers, under the direction of Patrick Dill, perform pieces for select services throughout the September to May season. Contact Patrick Dill if you would like to learn more about this group.
One way children learn to worship God and express their Christian faith is through the development of their musical gifts. The Junior Choir performs for selected worship services and rehearses Sunday mornings as needed. Children in grades first through eighth are invited to discover the joy of singing under the tutelage of director Roxanne Trump-Miles.
The Women’s Choir
To complement their performances with the full choir, select women also perform music written for small groups.
The Men’s Choir
After a series of rehearsals men from the congregation join the ranks of our choir to perform a special collection of music during the service. The performances are well received.
The Brass Choir assembles at Christmas time to perform traditional carols as the congregation gathers before the 10’oclock service. Our brass ensemble is composed of amateur and professional musicians who enjoy performing together. Rehearsals are at the convenience of the members and depend on their performing schedule.
