*HYMN 37 Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise
*THE PRAYER OF THE DAY and THE LORD’S PRAYER (unison)
Rev. Steven A. Peay, Ph.D.
Almighty God, you have built your Church upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone: Grant us so to be joined together in unity of spirit by their teaching, that we may be made a holy temple acceptable to you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever and taught us to say:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
*THE GLORIA PATRI (Hymn 558)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.

Unto You, I cried aloud, Fought for truth and righteousness; That my prayer should reach Your ear; Liberty is their reward, None but God can lift the cloud, By the strong arm of the Lord. None to my despair brings cheer. In the midst of darkest night, In the tempest, You are there, Set my fearful doubts to flight. Calling forth the flood and fire; Thunder blasts at Your command, In distress, I will recall If its roar meets Your desire. How the Lord my life has blessed; For a path, the sea did part, How the heroes of my race From Your throne into my heart.
